Likes

I enjoy cooking especially when I make the best homemade soup I have ever had. I mean my mom makes great homemade soup and it tastes a lot different from mine because a mothers cooking always tastes better than the food you make yourself. Speaking of my mom I love her unconditionally. She is my biggest fan. I may not be famous but to her I am everything. My family is my life. I recently got married to the most wonderful man I have ever met. He is even better than my father.  My dad is not a big part of my life but I love him anyways. My husband is great he supports me 100 percent.  Brent (my husband) is a graduate from Appalachian state. He is a certified high school history teacher. He currently cannot find a job as a teacher so he works in the furniture industry. My life is great even though we make it pay check to pay check. The thing that keeps me sane in my life is my one year old mountain feist Wyatt.  He is my baby. I enjoy playing ball and tug of war with him.  The place that I long for the most is the beach. Any beach will do. I am not particular when it comes to the beach. Just give me a beach towel, chair and sun screen and I will be just dandy. At the end of a long stressful day I enjoy taking a long, hot, relaxing bubble bath.

Dislikes

Cold weather is a nuance. I do not appreciate cold weather. If it is cold then it should be snowing.  I like snow but I really dislike the cold weather that comes along with the snow.  Also, I am from the south and a southern staple is tomatoes. Yuck! Who can like that mushy, silky, squirt in your mouth nastiness?  It is such an unpleasant taste. Tomatoes, yuck!  Sometime I wonder why God put certain creatures on this earth but then I remember He loves all creatures no matter how repugnant they may be. Spiders are so awful! Spiders put me in a tizzy. I have learned how to kill them without a man around. The trick is to spray them stiff with hair spray and then smash them with your shoe. I learned this trick from my momma.  There are some things in life that is difficult to change but I am trying very hard. As of right now living pay check to pay check is very disheartening.  My husband and I love each other very much and we live off of that. We are not poor by any means. I believe us to be the richest people in the world but I really detest worrying about finances.  My mom says “do you have enough money after you pay your bills to go out the supper? If yes then you are okay!”  These are a few things that I dislike. I would not say I hate them because hate is such an ugly word. Though there is one thing in this world that I hate. Bluetooth’s! I cannot stand Bluetooth’s. It is a good invention but people misuse them. For example, I work in retail and when someone with a Bluetooth comes up to check out they do not have the common curiosity to take it out and do their transaction. Bluetooth’s have made people ruder. Bluetooth’s were invented for the car. They are okay in the car but when in a public place I believe them to be inappropriate.

    Looks Like

Emily Durmire

I am tall as my mother but as short as my brother.

My hair is dark as the bark on an oak tree. But as slick as milk.

I wear purple glasses and take teaching classes.

My eyes are amber like a cat.

My smile is a little crooked and I am good looking.

I know exactly what you meant by bluetooths. I hate it when your in a store and the person behind you start talking and you either think that they are talking to you or to themselves. Great “About Me ” page.
